Good morning everyone! For starters I would like to apologize about error in my "Current Conditions" I have been reporting. Apparently the weather station at Memorial High School in Eau Claire is having an issue with their wind gauge. I have now switched to the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport weather station for what I hope will be a more accurate source.
Today is looking like a beautiful day. Clouds moved in over night to help keep the temperatures above freezing. Combine the cloud cover with a good South wind which is bring warm air in to the region. Eau Claire is looking like it has the chance to hit 30 degrees today but the wind chill will be a factor.
I miss predicted the cloud cover and wind direction change for today's weather but the temperatures are in line with my forecast.
Tomorrow is looking to be even warmer than yesterday. The winds will continue to persist out of the west due to a low pressure system which is stationary right now over Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico tracking to the Northeast (Figure 1). Winds will continue out of the South/Southwest and the cloud cover will reduce throughout the day.
