Sorry for the absence as we have had interesting weather on Saturday which brought snow to the Eau Claire Area. Pockets of snow flurries were flying while the sun was out during the evening hours of Saturday but the majority of the snow which stuck to the ground fell during the dark hours and into Sunday.

Currently there the skies are overcast but the skies are bright. The south winds are not really doing a whole lot for the temperature. These calm conditions are not going to last for much longer.
My forecast from Friday was pretty good. The snow appeared when I predicted.
The forecast for the next few days looks like a snowy one. A low pressure system located off to our West over Wyoming and extending into Minnesota will be blowing in by this evening via the jet stream. Look for the snow to start later this afternoon into the evening hours. Then snow almost all day tomorrow with chances decreasing as the day goes along.
